"I want pigtails too!"

Last Friday, Sean's teacher was putting pigtails in all of the little girls hair in Sean's class. He became very upset and wanted pigtails too. So, Miss Caity gave him pigtails - and was very apologetic about it when Daddy picked Sean up. It's an interesting "do" - and one we hope doesn't repeat itself when he is older...:)

The Frederick Fair 2009

Today, Sean & I went with John to his soccer game. The park where John plays has a great playground. Then, we took Sean to the Frederick Fair for lunch, rides & to see the animals. The big hits of the day were riding the helicopter ride, seeing the cows, and sitting on a tractor! All in all, a great day!

Summer Vacation 2009

We spent 4 days at the New Jersey shore - and had a GREAT time. We visited John's old office & co-workers at the Taj, we went to the Atlantic City Aquarium - and spend 2 days on the beach - in Ocean City, NJ & Strathmere, NJ. All in all, a great trip!

We took Sean to visit his great-grandparents today. John's grandparents (and Sean's great-grandparents) live on a beautiful piece of land overlooking the Potomac River in Harpers Ferry, WV. Sean had fun climbing on their deck furniture, playing with the slinky that GG (Great-Grandma) gave him - and watching the trains & planes fly by....

John's best friend from college (High Point University) visited us a few weeks ago. Will, Erin & Henry live in Charlotte, NC - but were heading north and stopped for the night. Henry is 2 weeks older then Sean - and the 2 boys had a GREAT time together!
