We took Sean to visit his great-grandparents today. John's grandparents (and Sean's great-grandparents) live on a beautiful piece of land overlooking the Potomac River in Harpers Ferry, WV. Sean had fun climbing on their deck furniture, playing with the slinky that GG (Great-Grandma) gave him - and watching the trains & planes fly by....

John's best friend from college (High Point University) visited us a few weeks ago. Will, Erin & Henry live in Charlotte, NC - but were heading north and stopped for the night. Henry is 2 weeks older then Sean - and the 2 boys had a GREAT time together!

Gettysburg Irish Festival

Sean attended his 1st Irish Festival today in Gettsyburg. He LOVED dancing to the Irish bands - as you can see in the video below - and he loved walking around to the vendors. The shirt he is wearing was bought at the same Irish Festival when I was pregnant with him 2 years ago. A good time was had by all!

Annual 4th of July picnic!

Friends that John grew up with have an annual 4th of July picnic at their house - and this was Sean's 1st appearance! He was the youngest child there - but had a blast on the swingset, dancing, playing with balloons, watching the big kids in the pool - and just running around. Sorry for the sideways video!

4th of July = Walkersville Carnival

We kicked off the long holiday weekend by taking Sean to the Walkersville Carnival. It was his 1st time to a carnival - and he had a BLAST! Grammy, Pop-Pop & Bob-Bob joined us - and we ran into cousins Paton & Rylee unexpectedly. Sean had a blast riding some rides with Paton, Grammy, Pop-Pop, and Mommy. He especially loved his "Fishy" that mommy won for him. Unfortunately - "Fishy" did not make it through the 1st day - RIP Fishy! We'll be getting "Fishy II" this week....

Sean's 1st Bike Ride

We finally got a child seat for John's bike - so tonight was Sean's first bike ride. He smiled from ear-to-ear (and so did Daddy) as they drove up and down the street. Now, Mommy needs to get a bike so we can take family bike rides :)
